AI reorder recommendations, built for wholesale.

B2BOptix puts AI-ranked reorder recommendations directly on your store's cart page. Each signed-in buyer sees what they are due to reorder — based on their own purchasing cadence — at the moment they're already building an order. Available for Shopify and BigCommerce.

How it works

  1. Nightly sync reads your order history and product catalog through read-only platform APIs.
  2. A forecasting engine computes each buyer's per-SKU reorder cycle, typical quantity, and next due date from their actual order gaps — recalculated every night.
  3. AI reasoning (Anthropic Claude) writes a plain-English explanation and urgency score for every buyer's upcoming items — e.g. “5 days into a 7-day cycle, 51 orders on record — 102 units due in 2 days.” Every buyer gets this treatment, regardless of account size.
  4. The cart widget renders one-click “add to order” cards, ranked by due date, with images and quantities pre-filled.

What your buyers see

Established buyers

Their own due and overdue items — including partial-reorder detection (“ordered 4 of usual 6 — 2 still needed”). Items already in the cart are suppressed automatically.

New buyers

An anonymized “popular with other wholesale buyers” view until their own baseline builds.

Signed-out visitors

Only the anonymized popular view — per-buyer data is never shown without a verified login.

Demand report — see the orders before they happen

Predicted units by week for the next quarter, plus the top SKUs due across all your buyers in the next four weeks — flagged where current stock won't cover predicted demand, and where supplier lead times put fulfillment at risk. One-click CSV export for procurement. (Lead-time risk flags are available on BigCommerce today via a product custom field, with Shopify support on the roadmap.)

Merchant controls

The number of recommendation cards is configurable from the app dashboard, and pilot mode lets you limit the widget to a selected customer group for a controlled rollout.

Integration & data handling

  • One cart-page script — no theme edits, no checkout changes, nothing on any other page. Install to first recommendations in under an hour.
  • Read-only data access (orders, products, store information). No access to payments, shipping, or customer contact details — ever.
  • Uninstalling removes the script and deletes all stored data immediately.

On the roadmap

  • Funnel reporting — impressions, recommendations added to cart, completed purchases, and attributed revenue.
  • Regional insights — “what similar shops in your area are ordering” for new-buyer onboarding.
